Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams Projekt Management SDS suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine/-n Projektingenieur (m/w/d) Tunnelbau Logistik am Standort Bruchsal (bei Karlsruhe).

SDS (Segment Documentation System) – das ist unser Produkt zur Logistik- und Qualitätssicherung.

Mit Deiner Expertise bist Du auf den großen Infrastrukturprojekten weltweit zuhause. Unsere Kunden sind international agierende Baufirmen – vom Lieferanten von Betonfertigteilen bis hin zur Tunnelbohrmaschine. Als Experte im Projektmanagement begleitest und führst Du Deine Kunden bis zur optimalen Produktlösung.

Deine Mission

Praxisnaher Einstieg: Im ersten Jahr begleitest du als Co-Projektleiter ein Tunnelbauprojekt in Österreich, England oder Saudi-Arabien und sammelst dabei wertvolle erste Erfahrungen.
Internationale Projektarbeit: Innerhalb des Projektteams übernimmst du eigenverantwortlich die organisatorische, technische und betriebswirtschaftliche Abwicklung von internationalen Projekten – aktuell unter anderem in Deutschland, Indien, den USA, Australien und der Schweiz.
Installation schlüsselfertiger Systeme: Du installierst für deine Kunden im Betonfertigteilewerk und auf der Tunnelbohrmaschine schlüsselfertige Systeme, die aus Soft- und Hardware bestehen.
Kundenschulungen und Support: Du führst Schulungen für deine Kunden durch und stehst ihnen während der gesamten Projektlaufzeit als kompetenter Ansprechpartner zur Seite.
Mitgestalten von Innovationen: Mit deinen (neu erlernten) Kompetenzen im Tunnelbau unterstützt du die Weiterentwicklung im Bereich Automatisierung und KI.

Das zeichnet dich aus

Abgeschlossenes Studium oder Techniker: Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium oder bist staatlich geprüfter Techniker im Bereich Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik, Bauingenieurwesen oder Maschinenbau.
Quereinstieg möglich: Mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung in der Projektabwicklung oder Systemintegration steht auch ein Quereinstieg mit Qualifikationen aus anderen Bereichen offen.
Grundlagen der Netzwerktechnik: Idealerweise bringst du ein grundlegendes Verständnis für Netzwerktechniken mit.
Lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise: Du behältst auch in stressigen Situationen einen kühlen Kopf und findest lösungsorientierte Argumente.
Sprachkenntnisse: Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind erforderlich, weitere Sprachen sind ein Plus.
Interesse an neuen Themen: Du bist offen für fachübergreifende Themen wie Datenmanagement, Automatisierung oder künstliche Intelligenz (KI).
Reisebereitschaft: Ein hohes Maß an Motivation, Freude am Reisen (ca. 30–40 % der Arbeitszeit) und Interesse an anderen Kulturen zeichnen dich aus.
IT-Kenntnisse und Führerschein: Fundierte Kenntnisse im Umgang mit dem MS Office-Paket, insbesondere Excel, sowie ein Führerschein der Klasse B (bzw. 3) sind notwendig.

To strengthen our Project Management SDS team, we are looking for a Project Engineer (m/f/d) Tunnel Construction Logistics at our Bruchsal location (near Karlsruhe) as soon as possible.

SDS (Segment Documentation System) – this is our product for logistics and quality assurance.

With your expertise, you are at home on major infrastructure projects worldwide. Our customers are internationally operating construction companies – from suppliers of precast concrete parts to tunnel boring machines. As an expert in project management, you accompany and lead your customers to the optimal product solution.

Your Mission

In your first year, you will accompany a tunnel construction project in Austria, England, or Saudi Arabia as a co-project manager and gain initial experience.
Within the project team, you will independently manage the organizational, technical, and economic aspects of international projects (currently including Germany, India, America, Australia, and Switzerland).
For your customers at the precast concrete plant and on the tunnel boring machine, you will install turnkey systems consisting of software and hardware.
You will conduct training sessions for your customers and be available as a competent contact person throughout the entire project duration.
With your (newly acquired) skills in tunnel construction, you will support new developments in the fields of automation and AI.

Your Profile

Completed studies or technician in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, civil engineering, or mechanical engineering.
With relevant professional experience in project management and/or system integration, a lateral entry with qualifications from other fields is also conceivable.
Ideally, basic understanding of network technologies.
You always keep a cool head and argue solution-oriented.
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, additional languages are a plus.
Openness to interdisciplinary topics such as data management, automation, or AI.
High level of motivation, enjoyment of travel (about 30-40% of working time), and interest in other cultures.
Solid knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Excel, and a driver’s license class B or 3 is necessary.
